Teaching Christianity and Islam for new GCSE Religious Studies specifications; Subject Knowledge Upgrade

This course aims to provide detailed guidance and subject knowledge development for the Christianity and Islam elements of the new GCSE RS courses. The revised GCSE criteria specify the need to cover two religions at GCSE, requiring significantly greater breadth and depth of religious and theological understanding. We will explore the detailed requirements of the different specifications and identify the areas which are likely to pose the need for further research and resourcing. You can do half a day if you just need input on one of these religions.
