Teaching Islam with the Cornwall Islamic Community Centre

Mid Cornwall/West Cornwall LTLRE hub meeting
to be held on
Tuesday 26th September from 4pm – 5.15pm at:
Cornwall Islamic Community Centre, Quenchwell Road,
Carnon Downs, Truro TR3 6LN.
The chairman of the Cornwall Islamic Community Centre, Mr Rifai, will be welcoming us as we discover how the centre can be used by Primary and Secondary schools to significantly enhance the teaching and learning of Islam in Religious Education.
Anyone that teaches RE in a Cornish school is welcome to attend.
Modest dress code is recommended.
This meeting will provide opportunities to:
- learn about how the Cornwall Islamic Centre can be a resource to enhance the teaching and learning of RE in Cornwall.
- meet with your project lead teachers for RE.
- network with other schools.
- develop new ways to raise standards in RE in your school.
