Welcome to Area 2-West of England
Area 2 of LTLRE stretches from Minehead to Swindon and covers the areas served by the Diocese of Bath and Wells and the Diocese of Bristol.
Area 2 (West of England) LTLRE includes the Local Authority districts of Bath and North East Somerset (1), North Somerset (2), Bristol (3), South Gloucestershire (4), Swindon (6), North Wiltshire (part of 7) and Somerset (11).
As a project, LTLRE seeks to offer the grass roots support for teachers of RE, strengthening practice in classrooms by building on existing models of support and finding new ways of connecting teachers to each other.
All Hub leaders receive training to carry out this role, meeting together 2-3 times a year to develop and improve their practice and understanding of the subject. We still have some vacancies for Hub leader roles, so please make contact with us if you are interested in finding out more.
