Welcome to Area 2-West of England
Area 2 of LTLRE stretches from Taunton to Swindon and covers the areas served by the Diocese of Bath and Wells and Bristol. It includes the Local Authority areas of Somerset, North Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire, parts of Wiltshire and Swindon.
I’m delighted to be able to contribute to, and build on, the many good things happening in RE in this area. Learn, Teach, Lead RE was established to find solutions to unmet needs in RE, so please get in touch to let me know what you think these are. If you already run a local network group, are a Specialist Leader in Education (SLE) for RE, are involved in research or Initial Teacher Education (ITE) – please do get in touch.
If you are in a Teaching School, a Multi-academy Trust (MAT) or a school interested in improving the quality of RE in your area we may be able to help.
